Results may be seen in 6 weeks and will continue to improve over 2 to 6 months. While the threads slowly dissolve, their effects may last up to 12 months.

THE PROCEDURE

Topical anaesthetic is applied to the treatment area. The PDO Threads are inserted using a micro-needle or a cannula. There is no incision and subsequently, no stitches required. Treatment’s sessions typically take between 30 to 45 minutes.

Every patient will have a degree of swelling, bruising & discomfort. Some patients commonly experience bruising to the area treated. Less common side effects include visible structure of the thread under the skin or snapping of the threads. Rare side effects may include infection

AFTERCARE

During the initial 48 hours, it is recommended to avoid excessive facial movements, strenuous activities, and exposure to high temperatures, such as hot baths or saunas. Gentle cleansing of the skin can be resumed after 24 hours using mild products.
